Youth Entrepreneurship Program
An Alternative to the
“Atlanta Water Boyz”
Since 2020, there were over 1000 calls made relevant to youth selling water on the street. There were also over 400 complaints relating to things such as aggressive sale tactics, obstructing traffic, and unwillingness to clean the area when complete. There has been 32 arrests made, 18 shootings, and unfortunately the murder of an 18-year-old male, Mr. Jalanni Press who was killed in Midtown over a $10 water bottle dispute.

With a combine experience of over 25+ years, our staff loves to work alongside our youth and young adults. Our staff has professional experience in education, counseling, theology and business.

Mentee
Our mentee phase utilizes a unique and robust curriculum that includes mindfulness discussions and activities based on current events, life skills, and criminal law.

Employee
Our Employee phase consists of a paid internship that occurs during the summer. Through the internship program, our youth and young adults will apply their financial literacy and gain work experience.

Owner- Operator
Our Owner-Operator phase consists of splitting the cart profit with our youth and young adults. Students will maintain inventory, develop work schedules, and utilize digital marketing strategies to operate a profitable Italian ice cart.
